Expand manu AND go to URL

I want to use the expanding menu but what I want is for when you click on the link that expands it also goes to page its linked to.

Is this possible?

I have spent quite a bit of time styling the expanding menu and was disappointed to find that you menu item with a submenu are not url-selectable... they are only capable of being used as an onclick event to expand the menu. Is there not a way to say [pseudocode... onclick: ('gotourl');] ????
