IE and Opera ignore css height?

HiI'm working on an retro-macintosh site.The layout looks like Mac OS 6.An example page:example (http://retromacintosh.110mb.com/main.html)Constructed using div's and cssWorks fine in firefox, safari, Camino, but it goes wrong in IE and Opera.

I am currently working on a MAC OSX theme for my website and IE7 and Opera don't pay attention to the CSS.. I guess I'll have a different CSS for IE and Opera... they'll just miss out of the MAC Look when they visit my website.
