Default HTML includes CSS and JScript or Use seperate files?

I know that in general it is accepted that one uses seperate files for the CSS HTML and JScript etc. BUT where the CSS and JScript applies to only one HTML page. Is there any reason why they should not be combined in one HTML page.For me, it makes editing much easier. And, there are two less...

Well there's the obvious editing your site. With an external css document you can edit something simple on the document, and it will change it on every site. Now if you were to have internal you would have to go through, and make the edit on every single page on your website. As for javascript I don't think it makes a difference where it is, but don't quote me on that.
